Marketing Specialist based in Paris, France (Internship)

Beyond Ratings is a young independent investment research and advisory company. We assist our clients in integrating transition risks (climate change, energy transition, resources management) in their investment strategy and operations. We provide standard research and tailored services. Our services leverage in-house research, advanced quantitative analytics, risk scoring for 85 countries in the world.
In the context of our rapid development, we are looking for a marketing specialist to help us develop the business and structure the company’s processes. The right candidate must have the temperament to thrive in a young company driven by our entrepreneur’s spirit. You will work in an international environment, with passionate professionals that are waking up every morning to provide our clients with new and innovative services in the finance industry.

Main responsibilities: reporting to the COO, the successful candidate’s main responsibilities will be the following:

  • Implement the company’s Marketing Strategy & Action Plan, in cooperation with Management (offline & online)
  • Support the commercial team by designing high impact actions
  • Participate in BR research services design & improvement : Liaise with BR internal resources (Management, Analysts, Data specialists) to increase product offering value and client satisfaction
  • Animate our client base to get constructive feedbacks and build client’s intimacy
  • Compose narrative that tells the story behind Beyond Ratings and its services
  • Design and produce corporate material, including presentations, brochures, interactive content, articles
  • Animate & coordinate the presence of BR in social media (Linkedin & Twitter)
  • Design and process weekly newsletters
  • Plan and manage events (conferences, trade shows)
  • Proofread documents produced by other departments (research reports, information services, articles)
  • Interact with the print and online press globally and issue regular press releases
  • Conduct continuous market/competitive analysis and report regularly


  • English is a pre-requisite; native English is a +
  • Second or final year of Bachelor’s degree with preference for a major in Marketing
  • Pro-active, highly commited, and result driven
  • Strong copywriting skills
  • Strong verbal and communication skills (most materials are in English)
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Pack Office
  • Strong command of at least one top graphic design software
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Good team player; able to build collaborative relationships on an inter- and intra-departmental basis
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while adhering to strict deadlines and producing quality work
  • Ability to adapt to an ever-changing, organic environment
