Kenya has identified 19 high priority renewable energy projects whose development will be fast tracked in the next five years, a government official said on Thursday. “Feasibility studies on the projects have been completed and they will require a total of 8.7 billion U.S. dollars to be operationalized,” Njoroge said during the Validation Workshop for the National Action Agenda and Investment Prospectus.
